Just started meditating again. I had been worrying about something for weeks and weeks and the moment I decided to slow down, I get a phone call and received an answer. Wishing you peace of mind and the will to let go of worry. Sometimes we all need to be reminded of this, that life can be easy. Simple as that.

I lived in Brazil for the whole year of 2005. Tenho saudade, sim. Especially when I see magazine issues like these. I was actually able to meet and chat with esteemed Brazilian architect, Oscar Niemeyer while I was there as we lived in the same condo he worked from on Copacabana Beach. To this day, one of the most memorable moments of my life. Most of our convo was actually about how I got robbed!

He asked in Portuguese, with a smoke in one hand and an espresso in the other, "Was it with a knife or a gun?" To which I responded "knife." He winced. "That's bad," he said. "Knives hurt more."
